This development would allow for libraries to set blocks to occur on the entire family when one family member is restricted. For example, if a guarantor/guarantee has been blocked either by an overdue process or a manual restriction- this block would be also placed on the other linked accounts. Once a restriction has been removed, the block on all accounts would be removed.
Development
- Add a system preference for restricting based on family member restrictions.
- There would be an option to override, tied to the override permission.
- Allow for configuration by library
- Allow for configuration by patron category
- In restriction types, allow the ability to set if it the restriction blocks guarantee accounts, guarentaur accounts, or if it goes both ways.
- Instead of adding a new restriction to the linked accounts, the code will check for and warn of existing restrictions on linked accounts.
